The lake rose to 14 percent of its storage capacity, and fishing remained fair. Spotted bass anglers continued their patient assault on the lethargic bass in 15 to 40 feet of water. Dead stick finesse techniques with small plastics took fish. Vertical spoon presentations were another way to entice bites from the spotted bass. Crappie anglers reported slower than normal fishing with one local angler catching a few with ice jigs and live worms. Catfish anglers cranked in whisker fish on cut mackerel and chicken liver.
