If you’re heading to the Lower D,  Steelhead anglers should bring sink tips and focus on deeper runs. Flies like Green Butt Skunks or darker patterns with blue and purple accents have been getting good results. Swinging for steelhead is always rewarding, especially when you find the right spot. Trout fishing has been solid as well with stonefly nymphs, eggs, two bits, and caddis pupa doing the trick.
