The Lower Deschutes from Warm Springs to Trout Creek continues to fish well. Trout are taking midge nymphs, eggs, and stonefly patterns, while steelhead anglers are finding success swinging flies like Intruders or Green Butt Skunks with sink tips. Euro-style nymphing with perdigons and small streamers is also productive. Steelhead seekers might consider traditional wet fly patterns or adjusting depths with weighted setups to adapt to changing conditions.
