Kaweah rose to 16 percent of its storage capacity, and fishing has been fair. Rainbow trout were planted last week, and anglers did well with rainbow Powerbait, Mousetails, minijigs and spinners. Bass anglers continued to work in 20 to 40 depths with drop shot jigs and spoons. Crankbaits took bass near the dam. Catfish anglers reported decent fishing with anchovies, mackerel, and cut sardines getting bites. Crappie anglers used minijigs and small live minnows for decent results.
