Fishing remained fair at Success Lake with trout as the best option. The lake rose dramatically to 29 percent of capacity, and the water conditions have been muddy with a lot of debris. Bass went for drop shot, Carolina rigs, and Ned rigs in deeper water, and a few fish were reported by anglers throwing A-rigs. Trout anglers picked away at the rainbows with nightcrawlers, minijigs, and Mousetails. There were no reports from other species.
