Lake Success rose to 17 percent of its storage capacity, and fishing has been fair to good. Largemouth went after drop shot, Senkos, and hula grubs in 15 to 25 feet of water with dark green, brown, and purple colors fooling fish. A-rigs have been effective near the launch ramp and the submerged trees. Crappie and catfish were on the slow side, but crappie normally hold a bit deeper and tighter to cover this time of year. Spoons and ice jigs can be a great way to entice bites.
