Lake Success rose significantly to 18 percent of capacity, and fishing remains fair. The rapid increase in water levels did not help an already tough bite. A few dedicated local anglers reported fooling bass in deeper water while using drop shot, jigs, and spoons. Due to inclement weather there were few reports from trout anglers, but dough baits, Mousetails, and Kastmasters have been successful recently. Catfish will eat cut baits, dip bait, and chicken liver in deeper coves.
